The Wood to Energy Workshop in Helena provided an overview of wood energy technologies as well as a forum for discussion of the challenges and opportunities for wood energy development in Montana. 

The workshop was a great success with attendance from diverse biomass energy partners from across the state of Montana including foresters, facility managers, energy suppliers, architects, engineers, environmental groups, members of the public, and others. 

The workshop was co-hosted by the USDA Forest Service, Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, CTA Architects and Engineers, and McKinstry Company.
